Weather widget

Hi,

I am having problem with my weather widget. It just stopped working today while it was working perfectly last night. Sometimes it doesn't detect my city. I tried many cities of different countries but it gives the error "location not found". Sometimes it complains about the network and says "no network connection". I tried wifi also but no result.

Sony XPERIA LT26i with standard non-modified build ICS 4.0.4 with weather widget version 2.0.A.0.17.

Sony XPERIA ST25i with standard non-modified build GB 2.3.7.

Sony XPERIA X10i with modified build on standard GB 2.3.3 with Weather Widget version: 2.0.A.0.7.

Location: New Zealand

Weather Widget reports "No network connection" on the above phones.

In a forum, you'll quite often see a helpful reply, "It works for me" HOWEVER, we have NOT see that.

So, as others are alluding too, Sony may be able to pick up one of their own phones with a standard build and test the Weather Widget themselves.

Have Sony attempted to test the weather Widget on their own Android XPERIA phone(s) and what was their findings?

Has anyone (including Sony) been able to access the weather using the Sony supplied WeatherWidget.apk in a standard build since Wednesday 02-JAN-2013 12:00 GMT???

Thank you AccuWeather.com team for being upfront and letting us know that you are working on an issue.

All the best for the new year and thank you for a weather Widget that has, in general, been stable, provided accurate weather and looks pretty to boot.   Which is more than I can say for a lot of other weather apps and widgets.
