Error occurred during tethering !!!!

I have Xperia M2 with Lollipop update. When i start "Hotsport" or any other data sharing application like "share it"

I got Error occurred during tethering !!! but everything works fine.

And another problem, when i press power button and click on "Restart" the phone doest restart. Need to start it manually.

I'd suggest that you do a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. You'll need to back up your data before starting this procedure.

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

Have you booted in to Safemode to see if the tethering works in that mode?

I see, then in this case follow through with the software repair function as stated above. This should help resolve the issue.

For 98 % problems, Suggeted the software repair option. Why its happening !!! As we are installing same OS / Firmware from Sony

Update. 

After software repair everytime, we have to install all the apps and configure its settings. Its very time consuming.

Software repair is not the option for most of the problems ( Its a last solution for the problem !!! )
