Water Damage

Dear Sony

I have tried to use my phone under the water, for less than 5 seconds, unfortunately the USB connector was open, which resulted in a phone water damage, and as a result the phone is dead now. There are some important data in the phone that was nnot backed up lately, so my question is that is there any possibiltiy that you can retrieve the data from the phone? This is an image of the water damage.

From your experience, do you think that there could be any chances phy?? thanks uliwooly, but most smartphones are available, except the Sony phone

Not sure, you need to take your phone in to assess the water damage.

Sony won't touch that with a barge pole. Nobody with any sense will. Your best hope is to transplant the internal storage on to a new board. If that's even possible.
