Have given the phone for service repair after touch screen wasn't working and they say that its my fault that I have put water in it.
Had the same problem and they had repaired it few months back. It seems they are just lying and trying to get away.
Well,if you did not close the ports properly,it could be your fault.Did you request a vacuum test?

Nope,I do not have waterproof device.I have the P and it was wet many times from rain,even though not waterproof.
I wont even test it in water unless by accident, i think the demo phones are maybe the blueprinted version, like the very first engine a manufacturer makes before mass production where tolerences are not that important.
