w8 pc companion update error

sir, today when i connected my pc to internet via datacard, pc companion notified me that an update is avaliable.... i choosed update now... but it just downloads 1% abd says download fails.... i tried to download pc companion from sony ericsson home site for W8... but its of no use... please check the problem soon.......

you can also turn off your firewall/antivirus

or

restart your PC on safemode (restart then press F8)
