your post is misleading, can you be more specific what is your query about?

broken as physically broken or broken as they aren't responsive and it might be software related, if the later is the issue, repair your phone with SUS

When updating ICS, I have to turn off my phone and then connect to PC companion and press and hold volume down button at the same time.  but my volume buttons got broken physically.. :'( Well actually, reparing it takes so long and is annoying.. thats why i havent repaired it. Anyone can help me please?

we'll if it is broken physically, you have to take it to sony service center to be repaired :smileyhappy:... How hard did you push? :smileyhappy:its just supposed to be a few seconds.. :smileygrin:

you have to press and hold the volumen down THEN connect your USB cable, there isn't another way to do this, as if you want to manually update you still have to enter flashmode, either you take it to a sony repair center or you repair the buttons yourself (will lose your warranty if you do) but there isn't another way to do this. sorry
