videos come out really small on z3

Recently got new sony z3, and some of the videos i transported from my samsung s3 come out really small on the screen. This happens aswell when i record the screen. This phone os magnificent, it has a massive screen...but its no use if almost all my videos are going to come out tiny!! Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

I have tried using different apps, they come out small as well but on a particular one i could change it to fit the screen, but it wouldn't save like that or fit the screen by default.

Are you using any software on your computer to transfer the videos?

No, but i think it asked me to convert the videos as i copied them onto the new phone and i clicked yes.

That's probably the reason, retransfer them and report back.
