When is Sony going to update the software to be able to video call and Not through Google . It is a common feature in other brands of phones

Videocalls through data it's not natively supported by Android, it has been requested before since 2011, it's not going to happen, that's my opinion

Thanks uliwooly.That's never going to happen,especially with the way Google are pushing their own software.Plus I don't know of any phone running lollipop that has this as an OEM only feature

Indeed, it doesn't make sense that google will do that, as Google need data/wifi connection to make ads profit.
