Vibration issue

I have bought a new xperia sp last week.But its vibration strength is very low  that i cant feel its vibration when the phone is in my pocket.Is it a hardware problem?or xperia sp's vibration strength is low by default?

my xperia sp is a brand new one...so what could be the problem?is it a hardware fault?
