USB OTG not working after JB update

i recently updated my xperia sl to jelly bean 6.2.B.0.211 and now the usb otg is not working on it any more i have tried changing  the cable and tried different usb pen drives but no response ! its not even showing a single usb detection notification

I've not tested this on my phone since JB update. But I'd be interested to hear responses. And will check mine as soon as I can.

As there's always the chance they've blocked it for some reason or other.

I cannot recreate your problem. I tried with a LiveDock and a USB pen drive and I got it to work just as before.

Restart your phone by press and hold the power button and the volume up at the same time.
