Hi,
when i connect usb, my pc is able to recognise my phone in MSC mode but not im MTP mode.
When i connected in MTP mode for first time,my pc tried to download pc companion from internet but failed n number of times inspite of good connection.then i manually downloaded pc companion from sony website and installed which further asked me to download MTP software, which i did and the pc companion installed successfully.even then my mobile is not being recognised by the pc companion. As one of the forums said,i checked the usb debugging option in the developer options and tried again.this time pc searched for more time, tried to find but finally said phone cannot be found.what to do?
Also as i connected my phone to pc for the first time,pc recognised the android hardware but couldnot automatically install the driver and said Hardware couldnot be installed and instalation failed. Is this the real problem?
I use Win xp Sp2.
Make sure that you have the latest update for Windows media player installed on your PC.
