USB Cable connection

I can't connect my Xperia X to my Laptop Acer E5. The Phone doesn't even charge the battery! Help me please

when you connect your device thru the usb cable, make sure to take note of the prompt on the device to use what connection, i.e charge only or transfer files.

try using other usb cable. restart both devices. or install Xperia Companion

Welcome to the community.

Please do try all of @nolramlb's suggestions. If you are still unable to charge it, try it on another device.

Keep in mind that sometimes, a laptop/pc/car stereo etc's USB ports don't put out enough power to charge the phone, so it consumes more than it receives. If that is the case, there's nothing we will be able to do to rectify this.

I have same problem with Experia XA Ultra. Tried leads, resetting everything available. Gave up and use micro card adapter straight into PC.
