Updating Issue

My Sony Xperia P is running the latest available software. But I am having some issues (album, lag etc) so I decided to re-install the current software.

Unfortunately Sony update service(SUS) is not showing options for older phones and PC companion saying that Windows 7 or previous Windows will be required to update this phone model.
What should I do now? I don't have windows 7 PC.
any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can see,very strange.Why don't you try using a W7 computer,don't you have a friend or someone who has W7?

You did not have to post two times the image.I really don't know,what about wifi,do you have wifi so you can try OTA update?

bro i have the latest available update on my P but i want to reinstall the software for some issues to get fixed(as i mentioned earlier) , so how can i reinstall the same software OTA?

You cannot reinstall OTA,you need a PC.Could you visit a sony service for assistance?

Right now windows 8 or 8.1 cannot read XP as usb device. The issue has arisen a few months ago when windows 8 was updated to 8.1 (which I have too) and all XP users are in a fix. Sony need to provide driver for our phonewhich is compatible with windows 8.1. Pray for it to come soon.

Till then, try custom roms, they are better than stock.
