SONY Says it was an ERROR for JellyBean update plans for 2011 xperia devices... They are investigating Android OS upgrades for all devices.

They are using different desktops on 2011 &2012, Sony will reuse the desktop and other software on the phone model, and I have requested them to add the new HOME in future ROM, however, still no respond:smileysilly:

Cant they at least put the timescape ui from the 2012 line or put the default android launcher?

Finally found the reason of the lags, its the launcher. Just installed Holo Launcher HD and made it the default launcher. No lags, except for the dialler App. Also, it looks almost exactly to stock Android, you Just need to have patience to set it up. After you set it up, its pretty awesome.

You can install a leaked browser from Xperia S by rooting your phone. If it is installed, you will feel that your ROM become better, and the battery can even last for longer. Sony is reluctant to give an update of applications to us.  We couldn't install it directly due to the signature conflict, but phones from other brands CAN INSTALL them. And I DONT KNOW WHY.

Yes, Sony didnt provide ICS update via the Update Center on our phones, it makes people feel confused during an update. Hope that JB update will not happen

Does this mean No Jelly Bean for 2011 Xperias...?????

As SONY said it was error for saying no Jelly Bean to 2011 Xperias, but also they haven't said officially that 2011 xperias would get Jelly Bean. By this Iam thinking that we (2011 Xperias) won't get jellybean or if yes, we would get it in 2013.
