Update problem

i have just updated my sony xperia Ion and after it installed the software to my phone, my phone switched itself off. Now i cant get it back on, it doesnt show a charging light. It does connect to the computer but when i try to repair it, it sits on the connection screen and doesnt move through to the actually repair. what should i do?

The most common cause of this is when the button it refers to was not held down firmly before, during and after the connection phase. If done correctly the phone should remain off and give you a solid green light in the notification area.
