HAVING REPEATEDLY BEEN NOTIFIED AND ADVISED ON SCREEN TO UPDATE THE SOFTWARE IN MY PHONE, I COMPLETED THE PROCEDURE AND HAVE HAD TERRIBLE PROBLEMS WITH MY HANDSET SINCE.
PHONE SWITCHES OFF AND ON REMOTELY, ALSO ADVISES THAT THE SIM CARD HAS BEEN REMOVED, ALARM HAS STOPPED WORKING, CANNOT ANSWER AN INCOMING CALL FROM THE HANDSET, BATTERY LIFE HAS HALVED WITH NO APPS RUNNING, PHONE IS WARMER TO TOUCH AS IF NETWORK APPS ARE RUNNING.
AFTER CALLING CUSTOMER CARE, I WAS ADVISED TO CARRY OUT THE SOFTWARE REPAIR PROCEDURE, WHICH I DID.
NO JOY.
CUSTOMER CARES ANSWER THIS TIME IS SORRY (ABOOUT 30 TIMES) BUT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO.
I AM TOLD I WILL HAVE TO SEND THE PHONE FOR REPAIR AT MY EXPENSE AND INCONVENIENCE.
I CAN'T EVEN ROLL BACK THE UPDATE.
VERY POOR REFLECTION ON SONY BUT TYPICAL OF SO CALLED MODERN CUSTOMER CARE

I am not working for sony,I sent you to xperia care because here there is no help you can get.You could try contacting one of the sony support members,but I am not sure it will make any difference.
