My phone failed toup date any body help me? it is showing  "unable to install or start phone software update components"

but there my phone seems to be updated.

I have the same problem with PC Companion and I also tried Update Service. This is what I get from Update Service:

Have the same problem in Lithuania (phone was purchased in UK). Nothing helps, tried with several  computers, diffrent OS'es, diffrent ISP's. Tried everything with firewalls and antiviruses. Beginning to regret for not taking the cheaper Galaxy S2...

Yes, I have tried that also. I just did a fresh Update Service install on the other PC, but no success- exactly the same errors on the other computer.

Same problem in Denmark. Sorry to say, this was my last Sony phone...................
