Update cannot be installed: 14.4.A.0.108

My Xperia Z1 prompted me to download the above stated update, but when it was downloaded, it cannot be installed. Even when I use PC companion, I get the same message. I am trying to update my Xperia because it is always rebooting and I read from somewhere in this forum that the firmware should be updated. Any suggestions?. Thanks.Screenshot_2014-09-03-08-57-20[1].png

What is the exact error you get when updating via PC Companion and do you have enough free internal memory on the phone currently?

If you keep having issues with the update engine, please try updating the version of Java you are running: https://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

I'm now currently downloading the device software. I'll inform you if the update will be installed properly. But for the meantime, can you answer why the 14.4.A.0.108 update cannot be installed when downloaded by my phone? As I am typing this post, my phone has restarted twice again. thanks

There could be a few reasons such as lack of free phone memory, incorrect access point names, OTA updates not supported by the network etc.

I've already updated my Xperia Z1 with the latest firmaware update (14.4.A.0.108), even the version that requires only a computer. However, the rebooting issue was not resolved. I even factory reset the phone. Went ok for a few hours, then it randomly reboots again. Any ideas?. I've already read some posts regarding this. i.e. clear cache, did also safe mode, but it still reboots.
