Update android operative system

Hello,

I've the Xperia S with Android 4.0.4. This month, the Android operative system updates automatically in 3G mode. The problem is that between monday and Tuesday (24-25.12.2012), he used 160 MB of my 3G connection to update him. It's possible to configure him to allow the update ONLY in WiFi mode?

I beleive in the initial setup it asks how and what to use to update and gives the option of wifi only etc - You may need to run the setup again and choose the wifi only option

Unfortunately i try it yesterday and in this case I can not choose between WiFi or 3G because I guess to do this (only for Android operative system) you need the the root access. If you want manage app you can do this but not for Android operative system.

You can disable mobile data via Settings > Data usage.

And only use Wi-Fi for Internet access.

go to setting --- about phone----  software update --- clik System tab then press  menu button ( below ) ---- select settings--- uncheck allow automatic update. finish. thats all!!!
