Yesterday I updated to the new version of andriod 4.2.2. Thereafter I haven't seen the settings of animation,USB debuggings,... (In 4.1.2 it comes under the Developer options). Can anybody tell me is my update right or the update itself present like that?
It is a known issue, so called "programming options" that also allowed to set the animations are being removed from settings in 4.2.2 (without giving any reason why).
I hope it will be fixed some time soon.
You have to enable the developer options: Google says by pressing the "build number" seven times in a row in the about menu.
Yep man now I can see developer options
Yes. Its worked on my XZ. Thank you for your answer. But for me, the Developer option created after FIVE consecutive touches on Build number.
Thanx for this valuable info bro.
Thank you very much Xaciaw!
Still, I do not see the reason why do they decided to hide this option 😕
Hey, I just turned on "forced GPU rendering for 2D draw" and "Always use GPU for display rendering" in programming options - now my UI should work faster / smoother?
Hey!!!
After I ticked these two options in programming settings my Xperia Z is working much much faster and do not lag almost at all!
And also Real Racing 3 game is working much better, much faster!!!
It seems that before it was using only CPU and not GPU!
Everyone tick this opstion and try it on yourself!!!
I don't know why they hide this option from us (and left it unticked) ... 😕
