hi all, new to the forum so if my question is an old one just point me in the right direction.
Just got the Z5, and was wondering if there are any apps that start when the phone is turned on that can be turned off.
Thx
try to restart your device, then go to settings> apps>running.
Will give that a try later, just playing Spotify at the moment to see how the battery lasts 🙂
To test the battery
charge the phone 100% use it as you normally would then once the battery reaches 10%
settings > power management > battery > take screenshots of:
1. the list
2. tap on the graph and take a screenshot
3. back > tap on the top 4 items on the list > take a screenshot of each
post them all here or upload the screenshots to box or dropbox or google drive or etc and post the link
Spotify run at max sound quality gave me 20 hours from 100% to 0%, but that's besides the point and digressed from my actual question.
So u need some apps that u can disable ?
Yeah, any of the built in apps that are not really needed.
when I look at the running apps, I'm not sure which are needed or not. Lots of Google related apps, and some phone accessory type apps. As I have only had the phone a few days I don't want to find out the hard way that I have deleted or stopped an important app or process 😄
I deactivated :
com.facebook.appmanager
com.facebook.system
drive
effect AR
ext. karaoke ytube/ words in google/ wikipedia/ youtube
gmail
google play film
google play music
hangouts
mask AR
photo analyzer service (useful for facial recognizying on album photo, but useless for me)
play station video
podcast
widget weather
and I uninstalled all stupid bloat just like office suite, avg, facebook, navigon and everything else that could be uninstalled at the start of the phone
Thx
