Unknown problem

Guys I own an ARC and im facing certain issues with it.

1. my phone goes black out ( no display) when i call somebody or recive a call.

2. even though i keep data disabled my battery drains out pretty soon

3.i want to update my phone from 4.0.2.A.0.62 to 4.1.B.0.587 but im confused should i upgrade or not as the reviews are confusing and also my phone is Xperia Arc not Arc S.:smileysad:

what could be the solutions to my problems

1. try to repair your phone with SUS

2. how long does your battery last? if you have wifi on it will drain battery, do this

charge your phone 100% > use your phone as you normally do > once it reaches 10% go to settings > about phone > battery use > take screenshots of

               a) the whole list

               b) the graph

               c) tap on the top 5 items in the list and take screenshots

post them all here

3. there are some issues with ICS.

Regarding problem 1, do you have a third party case or screen protector attached that may be interfering with the proximity sensor?
