Hi This mail is in regards to the service provided for XPERIA Z1. I preferred Sony because I thought, ITS AN ELITE BRAND BUT I DONT REALLY THINK THAT THE SERVICE PROVIDED IS AS PER THE BRAND NAME.INCASE IF I KNEW THE AFTER SERVICE OF THE PHONE WAS SO PATHETIC, I WOULDNT HAVE OPTED FOR IT AND ALSO I FEEL THAT SPENDING FORTY THOUSAND ON THE BRAND LIKE SONY WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY,RATHER I WOULD HAVE TRIED SAMSUNG. I bought SONY XPERIA Z1 on 22 SEP 2014,IMEI no The next day of the release. I got the phone from "Dayal Infotainment" Crown Interiorz, Faridabad. at the time of purchase the store clearly told me that in case something happens to the handset, you can bring the handset here at the store and we will get it repaired/exchanged from the service center/company.And also told me that the parts cannot be replaced rather the complete handset will be replaced. I got the six months accidental warranty at the time of purchase which gets over on 22Mar'14. I got the screen damaged few days after the completion of my accidental warranty, at that time I handed over my Xperia Z1 at the store ,it took more than a month to get the handset replaced. At that time I paid them the cash of 8000 INR. And my misfortune that the same issue happened again within a month on 14Jun'14 . I handed over my handset again on 15Jun'14 (IMEI no.). The handset was sent to the service center "Sai Electronics" (5C/12, BP Railway Road, Faridabad NIIT-121001). After a week I called the guy whom I handed over my handset at "Dayal Infotainment" he told me that it has gone for approval will take some more time. I called him on 30Jun'14 and he told me that he will confirm the amount and the approval and will let me know. After two days I called him again and then he told me that he has not confirmed about the approval as yet. Then again I called him then he said that he is waiting for the payment which will be made via DEMAND DRAFT in favor of SONY INDIA PVT LTD for the amount of 20995.He was not sure about the approval and told me to call again and also told me that he has left Dayal Infotainment ....since 02Jul'14 I was trying to contact the guy but his phones were switched off. Then ultimately I had to call Dayal Infotainment. I spoke to the guy on 03Jul'14 he said that they don't know any update regarding my phone as the guy who has let the store has all information, he gave me another number of that guy and I tried his number and fortunately he picked up my call. He told me that the approval has failed and they need to send again to Sony for the approval and this time might be I need to pay a lesser amount as the prices have been dropped and again his phones were switched off. I called up Dayal Infotainment again and also had an argument and told them that they should understand my problem as well, incase if someone leaves the job from the store then its there responsibility as I got the phone from them and not the salesman. There was a guy by the name Rohit he confirmed from the service center on 04Jul'14 and told me to get a Demand Draft and submit it to Sai Electronics. I have submitted the Demand draft for 20995. Invoice no 668 Companys vat TIN 06511832635 Companys cst no-CST06511832635 My concern is that nobody gave me the correct information both the times and why does it takes more than a month to get the handset replaced incase of screen damage. Secondly, in the first instance why I was not asked for the Demand draft of 8000. Thirdly, now why I need to make the payment of 20995, when the priced have been slashed down. In the one instance I have been charged 8000 cash and second instance 20995 dd. This brings doubts in my mind and also the service center guy told me that the accidental warranty scheme has been withdrawn by the company on 01Jul'14, hence I will not get the accidental warranty. WHEN I HAVE SUBIMITTED MY HANDSET IN THE MONTH OF JUNE,THEN WHY WILL I NOT GET THE ACCIDENTAL WARRANTY. AND THEY WILL TAKE 10 TO 12 MORE DAYS FOR THE NEW HANDSET. I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS STUPID POLICY /RULE OF SONY ......IS IT TO HELP CUSTOMER OR TO MAKE THEM SUFFER OR ITS A PUNISHMET/OFFENCE THAT WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO BUT A PHONE FROM SONY.I THINK THE COMPANY THINKS THAT THE CUSTOMER OPTING FOR SONY ARE COMPLETELY FREE THEY HAVE NO OTHER WORK ,HENCE THEY CAN CALL END NUMBER OF TIMES......TO THE SERVICE CENTER AND TO CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK WHO HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OR INFORMATION ANY **bleep** THING RATHER EVERYTIME WE CALL ON TOLL FREE NUMBER THEY JUST ASK US TO VISIT SERVICE CENTER.....WITH NO EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AT ALL. AND THERE SUPERVISORS ARE ALWAYS BUSY......HATS OFF TO SUCH A BRAND......I WILL NOT SUGGEST ANY ONE TO WASTE THER MONEY ON THE BRAND LIKE THIS. I NEED A RESPOSE FOR ALL MY QUERIES AND INCASE I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR RESPONSE, I WILL SURELY TAKE AN APPROPRIATE ACTION. I NEED MY HANDSET ON PRIORITY WITH THE ACCIDENTAL WARRANTY.
