I am unable to update software of my phone xperia z 1 on mac.

Hi Everyone,
I have been told that there was a bug that made Bridge not recognize some Xperia Z1 phones, and that they are working on a solution. Unfortunately, I can't give you an exact date but it will be fixed soon.

Thanks David. Online chat support alluded that it was a known issue as well. No one told me however, how we'd be notified that this was fixed. Can you tell us that?

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wasn't looking for a date, I was wondering how we'd be notified that the new version of Bridge For Mac is ready. Do we need to keep going back to the site daily to check?

It should come up as a software update in Bridge probably, so that shouldn't be necessary.

It looks like taht the problem is resolved !!! I just update my Sony Bridge App and finally my Z1s is connected!

It now sees my phone which is good but never finishes 'connecting'. Have you actually had luck other than it seeing your device now? If so, how long did the initial connection take? I left mine for 60min and it never came out of 'connecting' status.
