Unable to transfer any files to my Phone from Laptop

I have installed the PC Companion in my laptop, but unable to transfer any files to phone through PC Companion or from My computer. My device gets detected by PC( Doesnt display anything in My computer in removable storage or portable device)In Sony Companion if i try to click on file transfer or media go PC companion is not responding at all . Please check and suggest me solution

Happened with my before, Connect your phone via USB then, go to Device manager and you'll find an unknown device -MTP- right click and search for driver, then it will work with you In sha'allah.
