Unable to make a phone calls because airplane mode on xperia Z3

My Sony Xperia Z3 doesn't have service. It can only connect to WiFi. I've tried airplane mode, shutting it off, resetting the phone. I cannot receive incoming calls nor make calls. This is becoming very frustrating. Help please!

Hi,

Does the phone indicate that you have a SIM-card mounted? When you restart the phone, are you able to enter your PIN-code? I suggest that you try another SIM-card to exclude problems with your current SIM-card.

I tried all the suggestion, but it didn't work also. Yes, when i restart the phone, i'am able to enter my pin code.

Okay, and if you look at the signal strenght icon in the status bar, do you see any "X" mark or how does it look? Could you perhaps provide us with a screenshot? And if I understand you correctly, you have tried another SIM-card which shows the same behaviour?

have the same problem

Sim card is tested on other devices (it works fine), the airplane mode is turned off in settings, the phone "knows" that sim-card is inserted but just cant use it (no provider-name, no calls, no sms, no mobile data), when try to make call it show "turn off the airplane mode" but it's actually off.

me too I have the same problem with my z3
And I don't know the solution of this problem.

I have returned from a holiday and since coming back to the UK I have absolutely no signal or 3G. I have been to EE who kindly replaced the sim card for free which has made no difference. I have been to a Curry's store for advice but they were no help at all. Does anyone know why this would just stop working or what I can do to fix the problem? I've also done a factory reset - no luck!

This is most likely a hardware issue, contact your Local support to get it inspected.
