Twitter setup issue

Hi,

I tried to setup twitter account in the Timescape widget.

It ask permission for timescape to access my twitter account through browser

I gave the username / pwd and when tried to connet, the browser stopped suddenly.

I tried for many times and it still the same.

Please advice.

Couple of things, did you use the @ symbol with your username?  Did you try it with your email account that is registered with Twitter? 

Have you connected to Twitter on your phone using a twitter application, tweetdeck, twidroid etc?

Just signed in on my Neo with Timescape and its fine so couldn't reproduce the issue.

i used my email account to register. I have already registered in twitter. I am just using email id to sign in or to sync with register.

i didnt use any twitter application trying with sony timescape.

Ok so have you tried using your @username to sign in rather than an email address as this is what just worked fine for me.  Let me know if it works.

Hmmmm, ok lets think.....

Does Timescape work with your Facebook account?

Can you download a twitter app and see if you can get that working on the phone.  This is my preferred way of using Twitter on the phone anyway, I have a Facebook widget and a Twitter widget on one of my home screens rather than Timescape so this may be a work around.

You may want to try clearing the data from the Timescape application as well:

Main Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Timescape > Clear data.
