turning off roaming

Hi

Im leaving the UK, taking my xperis s with me, but I can't turn off roaming, the option "mobile networks" in settings>>more isgreyed out!?  How can I turn off roaming please?

Do you have airplane mode activated? Because if airplane mode is activated, the option mobile networks will be out greyed.
