I've had my phone for just over a year now, and have had no end of problems with it. I've had issues transferring my music to it (both to internal storage and SD card) - sometimes music transfers and sometimes it doesn't, and even when it seems to transfer to somewhere on my phone it doesn't show up in the music library so I can't play it. I've basically given up and just listen to the few albums that do work.
Now i'm having issues with transferring photos. Often, MediaGo says that there are no photos on either internal storage or the SD card, sometimes Windows Explorer says the same thing and sometimes one or the other works no problem. Even then I have to hunt around all over the phone, coz the location of the pics seems to change each time. And before you ask, I haven't changed the settings on the phone, although with every stupid 'update' that comes along, it seems like everything rearranges itself automatically and I have to figure it all out all over again (granted I'm not the most tech-savvy person in the world, but basic functions on a smartphone should not be so freaking complicated). I never know whether to stop installing updates to avoid these annoying/aggravating changes, or whether that will lead to difficulties further down the road.
Anyway, I guess what I'm hoping is that someone has had similar issues before, and had figured out a way to make everything nice and simple, so I can just plug in my phone via usb, click a button and voila have all my photos on my laptop - which surely must be possible! And is this an issue with all sony phones, or have I just got a dud that doesn't want to play nicely. Coz I'm getting seriously tempted to just get rid of the thing and avoid everything sony in the future!
