transfer problems

I'm trying to move data from an HTC Desire X (Android 4.1.1) to a Sony Xperia by means of Xperia transfer (the app).

The first thing that happens when I start the app is that I get the message: "This unit is not currently supported... Do you want to continue anyway?" So I tap Continue and everything seems Ok (takes a while and it reports getting messages, contacts and so on...)

When it's finshed and I connect the phone to my computer (USB), PC companion says it can't find any content in my old phone!

Any suggestions???

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

It sounds like you've been trying to run the Xperia transfer via PC Companion. I can see that your HTC model is not listed as supported, so that may be the reason why it isn't working.

But you could try to search for the Xperia Transfer Mobile application in Google Play store and check if you can transfer your data wirelessly between the phones.
