After updating to firmware version R2BA023 I am unable to open the TrackID app. I get the following error message:
Sorry!
The application TrackID (process com.sonyericsson.trackid3.client.rachael) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I have re-installed the app but the problem still persists. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you try updating the phone again?
Yes I have tried to update the phone again but the problem still persists.
Go into Settings> Applications> Manage Applications and scroll down to TrackID, select it and then clear data. Restart phone and give it a try.
Hi,
here is how you fix it:
1. Download and install "OI File Manager" from the Market.
2. Launch ‘OI File Manager’
3. Select the icon with an image of a house (home), and look for the folder called “system" and then "app“.
4. Look for the file name called "playnowarena.apk" and click it to reinstall it.
You might be requested to enable “Unknown sources”. This is done by clicking “Settings” and then checking the checkbox for unknown sources. Then press back and click “playnowarena.apk” again.
5. After completing the installation, PlayNow should reappear in your file list and be fully functional.
EDIT: sorry, I guess I was too fast and didn't read carefully enough. Your problem is around TrackID, not PlayNow. Well, anyway, maybe you find a similar way to fix it for TrackID.
Hi. I tried that but the problem still persists.
Hi. In your instructions you mention that I must reinstall the PlayNow app. I don't have a problem with the PlayNow app. My problem is with the TrackID app. I did try your instructions with the TrackID app but the problem still persists.
