Hi,
I don´t really know if this is a real issue, but I never had such a problem before on a touch device.
Almost every second time I want to scroll by moving the finger in touch with the display, it receives a tap or a pinch depending on the working app.
To be sure that the tablet receives a scroll event, I have to do it very slow with much more pressure I normally use on any touch device.
Furthermore my gloves, which worked with any device I had until now, don´t work.
Is this an issue with my tablet? Or is this a normal behavior? I don´t notice any similar on my Sony Xperia Z Smartphone or Google Nexus 7.
Best Regards
Here is a post over on XDA, with people having the same issue. They have reported that it looks like it gets fixed with the .370 update on WiFi version but not the LTE version.
The update worked for me.
I have a WiFi.
Looks like the LTE guys have to wait a little.
Still no update in Norway
I have the sgp311 model. Hopeing for the update to arrive soon. The touchscreen is far from good!
I'm considering selling by this weekend, just totally frustrated......
I think LTE users need to wait until the release of 4.2 update!!
Looks like the LTE version also is getting an update, have not recieved it yet. 10.1.1.A.1.307

Lets hope it fixes the sensitivity issues!
The release date of the update is 11-6 (on the forum), but I'd still not got the update at Hong Kong. When will I get it???
I can confirm, that the touch sensitivity is much improved with the new release (LTE). Thank you Sony.
I confirm, the update is still not available in Hong Kong!! When will we get the update???!!
I have the update but I just noticed my first touch problem. Seems like it doesn't fix the problem completely. I think it might be a hardware issue.
