touch sensitivity

Hi,

I don´t really know if this is a real issue, but I never had such a problem before on a touch device.

Almost every second time I want to scroll by moving the finger in touch with the display, it receives a tap or a pinch depending on the working app.

To be sure that the tablet receives a scroll event, I have to do it very slow with much more pressure I normally use on any touch device.

Furthermore my gloves, which worked with any device I had until now, don´t work.

Is this an issue with my tablet? Or is this a normal behavior? I don´t notice any similar on my Sony Xperia Z Smartphone or Google Nexus 7.

I can now report that yesterday evening i too received this update and the sensitivity is much improved. I can now use my stylus witht the tablet :-). still debating whether to remove the factory fitted screen protector tho...

Amazing, that a 4 MB patch could turn my device from unusable to the coolest tablet i've ever had.

I also recieved the update and the problem with the touch panel is now gone, so I'm happy.

One thing that I'm not happy about is the lack of information from the Sony Xperia Support team.

We've gotten no feedback about this problem other than it cannot be reproduced...

You (Sony Xperia Support Team) should have informed us that an update was in the works or that you are looking into the matter, but nothing but the silent treatment.

If you want some feedback about how you can improve your customer service, this is it.

Hi Mattias, I'm also experiencing the touch problem; but haven't seen an update in my region (HK). Was the update pushed to you? Or need to download somewhere?

Sony, please get this update out across the board ASAP! Typing a simple message here took more than 5 minutes, as the touch screen is not registering... Ridiculous!

I got the update both via PC Companion and OTA (Over The Air).

I'm located in Sweden.

I'm also a LTE user in Hong Kong. The machine has touch sensitivity problem and cannot read exfat format! Sony just keep silent and never answer what they are going to do!!

Since other users can get the patch to fix, why Sony Hong Kong cannot anounce a delvery date of that patch??? Besides, are you(sony) going to fix the exfat problem of LTE version???
