touch screen not working

i bought my xperia mini pro last december of 2011.. but unfortunately three days ago, my touch screen suddenly did not work? i deleted most of my downloaded applications using the keyboard since i cant use the touch screen. Can somebody help me how to fix this problem?

Most probably hardware is gone :smileycry:, software repair didn't help

I still wonder if its the screen protector that might be acting up, I would say, remove it and see if it works.

Wondering what's the status of this thread, same thing happened to my mini pro just few hours ago (also bought it last December 2011)

I already did try to repair through PC companion, as soon as the phone starts again stuck on the choose language screen/swipe to unlock screen. Got pass through using the keyboard and went to service menu, navigate until test Touch Screen. No response at all...

Will go to Sony service center as soon as I can have it checked.

Just an update, Sony service center has replaced the whole screen assembly after a week. Indeed its a hardware issue.
