touch screen not working

i bought my xperia mini pro last december of 2011.. but unfortunately three days ago, my touch screen suddenly did not work? i deleted most of my downloaded applications using the keyboard since i cant use the touch screen. Can somebody help me how to fix this problem?

Update/Repair your phone via PCC OR SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

unfortunately its a  hardware problem , next step is  to have a cup of coffee in service center

oh so does that mean i bought a lemon? well thats bad news.......its really bad news if the problem is the hardware... anyways thanks for the time.

well do have any suggestions or would you be able to help me? as nabeel has said its a hardware problem....do you think its the hardware?

my last suggestion will be to go to service menu and test the touchscreen but it seems that indeed its a hardware issue
