One minute my phone was working, placed it back in my locker at work and then when I check it a couple hours later, the top hal of the screen has stopped working completely!!
I'm unable to do a repair or software update on it as I can't even unlock the screen or turn the phone off. It wasn't dropped or anything, it just suddenly stopped working.
Even went in to the dealership that I got the phone from to see about a repair/replacement (I've only had the phone 8 months) and they refused to do anything to it because of a scratch on the back of the phone. This was there before the screen stopped working and has nothing to do with this fault!
They told me I had no choice but to void my warranty and go to a third party repair shop (one, I might add, they recommended that doesn't actually fix sonys). So either way I have to pay a massive amount for a phone that has stopped working due to no fault of my own!
Even the scratches on the back screen I have read up can miraculously appear on Xperias due to overheating or something, but I'm not disputing that... I just want my phone to work.
Any solutions?
