Root Xperia E1 Dual (D2105)? Any Methods available?

Has anyone succcessfully rooted the device?

Plz let me know. It is almost useless without root. My personal view.

Hunting for a successful root method but in vein.

Also, need to know how to unlock bootloader for a dual SIM phone?

Because it has two IMEI numbers? Confuses ?!?

None of the root methods I've tried have worked. All I really want to do is reverse tether it instead of relying on expensive 3G or slow WIFI.

Try This (1.)

Download and Install - Kingo

From - http://www.kingoapp.com

Click Continue Anyway while installing the driver.

Do the instructions and click Root the device.

If it's not working

Try This (2.)

From the above site, (http://www.kingoapp.com) click "Bootloader Unlock" and click "Sony Bootloader Unlock" , download and install.

Try to Unlock by this software.

If it's not working

Try This (3.)

Visit this site - http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions

It may help you.

I know KIngo doesn't work on the E1. I didn't try unlocking the bootloader.

This works on e1 dual d2105. I used it without unlocking bootloader. Install the apk , open it and click make it rain. Device will reboot and you will have root acess

You can get it from www.towelroot.com which is probably a better idea, since it's closer to being official than a cloud storage site.

this is what i used to root mine it is working 100% ON MY e1          Rootkit-A114.EXE SEARCH IT ON GOOGLE AS I CANT REMEMBER WHERE I FOUND IT. HOPE THIS HELPS
