I just purchased a new Xperia Z2 (D6503).
I noticed there is a tiny bright light/spot looks like this "-", about 1-2 mm long, located at the left corner of the bottom bezel (which is all black) on the front screen. It is most noticeable when the screen is on in a dark environment. When the screen is off, this tiny light is also off, just looks grey.
I wondered what this light is for , and found no results in the user manual. I searched Z2 phone pictures online and all the bottom bezel on those phone looked whole black without any light. So i'm worried if my screen is defective.:smileyworried::smileysad: Please help.
it is not at the edge of the black bezel though, hard to discribe... i will post a image once i had a chance to get a camera. But now I've drawn an image to represent.
i uploaded it to google drive, hope you can see it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2QuCg6JMX-BdE9lTXlQRXpfc2s/view?usp=sharing
it actually doesn't look like a scratch (that was just my bad drawing skill...). I can see the surface of the screen is smooth and flat, but the light turned on at that spot as the screen awakes, shining underneath the glass.
So, bottom line is have you seen this on any Z2 before?
Does the bottom black bezel on Z2 front looks completely black under any situation?
If this is the case in normal device, I guess mine is defective and will seek for replacement/repair then.
Thanks for your info!
I will seek replacement from the place i bought it.
