The Problem with Display Xperia S

I have an Xperia S, was using suddenly stopped and the display no longer shows the image. I realize that the touch screen works, but I can not view the images, what should I do?

This could be either software or hardware but before taking it in for repair it would be worth trying to run an update:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

Hi,

I have the same issue LCD does lits and the touch is working, but the screen is totally black, I reflashed it with several firmware  versions, still no change, I went to serverl repair shops, some says its the LCD screen and some says its the Flat Cable, I am lost, could you please share if you fixed you mobile or if some more one have the same issue and he solved it.
