Temporarily avoiding poor connection

Hi sorry for the noob post but im a first time user on Sony phones.

Recently upgraded to a Z3 and so far so good but...every 5 mins or so i keep getting a "temporarily avoiding poor connection" message on my Wifi. I've read a few other threads on this site and others and so far no luck. some sites have suggested that in the advanced settings section i should find an option to turn off the avoid poor connection setting, however i cannot find anywhere! tried changing the IP setting aswell and again no luck. Router is all up to date.

It seems such a pointless setting and i would love to turn it off but it doesnt seem possible on the Z3, please help!

What if you forget the WiFi > restart your phone > add it again

THat's quite odd, do you have any antivirus or battery app?

Does it happen while on safe mode? if it doesn't then it's a third party app that is causing this problem

I'm having the same issue. It doesn't seems to be a problem that need to be fixed on the phone (hardware or other app), it's just an option in Advanced Wifi Setting that is not available for Xperia Z3 Android. Sony could add the option to turn off this "Temporarly avoiding poor connection" as it's available in others android devices.

Do you know if there is another way to turn this thing off? Thank you very much!
