tav sideview always 12 hours behind

Hi
When I open tvsideview it insists I am up at the wee hours of the morning, when its actually 3pm, not am! My clock on my tablet is correct, is this app hemisphere centric and not acknowledge the existence of New Zealand? Help much appreciated.
