T715 SMS

I really like my T715, which I use on 3 network. I am reluctant to change for a Smart phone.

One persistent nuisance is that the number of characters I can send in an SMS seems rather low.  After 5 or 6 lines, it splits into 2 messages. 

Is this a problem with the phone or with the network??

count the characters, an SMS it's about 140 characters, in some networks accents or special characters are counted as 2 or more characters.
