Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

A 64 GB MicroSD-card might work, but we can only guarantee that T2 Ultra is full compatible with a MicroSD-card up to 32 GB.

Why there is an uncertainty from official support?
Why it "might" work?.what are the reason causing 64GB microSD fail? Whats the error?

Offically it will support up to 32GB - Now the issue is the format - So anything above 32GB has to be in exFAT which won't be supported so to use a 64GB you could try exFAT or use a free program called guiformat on your Pc and force format the card to FAT32 but you will still be limited to the 4GB file size limit

Even if i.upgraded to.kit kat, do I still.need the guiformat?

I honestly don't know - All I can tell you with certainty is that using guiformat a 64GB card will be ok to use as long as it's in FAT32

This is a new phone that I got. When I installed a new SanDisk Micro SD Card (32GB) into the phone it recognized it right the way. But, after a little while, the phone will announced it has been removed without un-mounted.  I tried a few times and the results were the same. However, if I plug the phone to the laptop and Sony PC Companies could see the card without any issue.

I.e. the card was physically connected.

Please advise if there were anything I could do to fix this, thanks.
