I posted this to the wrong board- my apologies
I have recently purchased a Tablet LTE and the GPS has not worked after the first 24 hrs - I have been trying to get Sony to advise me on where to take it for repair but cannot get a response from them by SMS or Email stating the address- is there support for the Sony Tablets?
Thanks for the response but that takes me straight back to the Sony Support that is not currently supporting my questions
After 10 days this is getting to be ridiculous and I think based on my experense I never want to see another Sony product - useless
Try the basic, repair your tablet with either PCC or SUS
Bridge (for Mac)
BTW, do you have a magnetic case?
Have you also tried calling your local support?

I finally got a response from Sony after a 12 days wait.
they sent the address of thev local agent - which I visited - surprise surprise- he is not an agent for Sony
Back to square 1
Main problem with the tablet is for every hour of use it takes about 12 hrs of charging - Finally got a full charge 5 mins ago it took 16hrs and was put on charge at 72% full!
This has all the hallmarks of a tablet from **bleep**!
Just to try something out and see where the problem is.. There is an app in the play store called "Battery Monitor Widget". It can measure and store current ( amperage) statistics. While the charger is plugged in, the charging current should show positive. In my case I found that the screen being kept at High brightness was draining current even when the charger was plugged in even though the drain was only few milliamps. But the end result was the tablet does not charge or even lose charge while use. So I put my brightness on Auto, and the display dimmed, stopping the drain and the tablet started charging.. Not saying that would be the problem in your case, but it can give you some pointers to where the problem may lie.... I uninstalled the app after I got my answers..
Thanks for the advice - will give it a try - Generally I power off during charging and itn theory that should mean virtually njo consumption.
I tried charging through thr computerr instead of direct to the AC and that seemed a much faster charge rate
I an heading off to the nearest agent to see what they say - 3 days there and back - oh well
Thanks again
