Is there any hardware level support for the encryption option available in the phone settings or is it software based? Has anyone tried it to evaluate the performance impact? I know Google have not enabled by default because of poor performance by some vendors but it's not really clear to me who or why!
What do you mean by level support - do you mean at what level is the encryption like 128, 196 or 256 etc, if so then I don't know - Owners enable because some company's require it in order to access and use corporate emails
