I think it is possible to remove the display of the active SIM cards near signal strength indicator.

Turn off scanning always available inc when screen is off in settings WiFi/advanced. This is a workaround for the WiFi bug that doesn't let the device sleep it is fixed in the latest firmware. I'm more than Impressed with the battery life and I'm still on. 35 firmware, first full charge yesterday got 4hrs screen time and today's was even better
