Subway surfers not working after upgrading to 4.3

Hi,
I have subway surfers installed on my Sony Xperia Z1.

I really love this game but recently I updated my Xperia z1 to android 4.3. Since then this game stopped working. It's opening but nothing appears apart from purple screen. I can click anywhere in the game but only purple screen appears on screen.

I guess this problem can be sorted by clearing app data and cache but that will make my high scores, keys and all go in trash. Plz help as I don't want to loose all my credentials and trophies.

Hope an update will rollout soon fixing this problem. Please let me know in case any other workaround is possible.

Take your game folder and save it somewhere else in your phone.Redownload the app from google play and put the save games back into the installation folder.It should be ok.

Hi alexdon,
I tried this as well. When I install this game again, it works but as n when I replace the new files with older ones, same problem re-occurred.
Any other way around?

      me Too faced the same problem,it happened in temple run also for me i lost al my level keys n coins update **bleep**

It may be corrupted,the older files I mean.Cannot you select only savegames,not profile or settings?

I have this problem too. You should delete this folder: /Android/data/com.kiloo.subwaysurf/files/shader/
And enjoy the game again
P.S. without lost you progress
