I have an x10 mini pro. Lately, it keeps crashing and freezing. Today I tried to turn it off and on (I usually reboot it like once every three days). Now its stuck at the boot screen. The white sony logo flashes and it just keeps on repeating. I've tried sony pc companion and sony update service to repair (note: repair, not update) the phone. PC companion says that there is no software available for my phone. Sony Update service tells me that my phone is up to date. But I can't turn my phone on. Its stuck at the white logo at boot. Someone please help?
Hi, suggest you repair phone software with Sony Update Service again. You should have option to repair software, just proceed and click Repair.
If still not possible, you have no choice but to send it to your local Service Centre for repair.
Be aware that this process will erase phone data completely.
I uninstalled SUS and reinstalled it again. Didn't work.
And I'm not worried about losing phone data, I just want it to be usable again. I'm in Maldives so I don't have any local Service Centre here.
Don't you have the option to proceed to next screen to repair phone software on both PC Companion and Sony Update Service?
Well, it checks the software and then says my phone is up to date. Is there any way I could force it to repair itself or maybe hard reset my phone?
For PC Companion, Support Zone>Start, Phone Software Update>Start, a screen will pop up, click repair phone.
When I click on support zone, the new windows shows nothing. There is no pop up screen. It doesn't even recognize the connected phone. Everytime I connect the usb cable (attached to the phones) to the pc, it starts the boot lap again and gets stuck at the white logo. This is what I get when I click support zone on pc companion.
Same with Sony Update Service?
This is what I got
Unfortunately, I think you have no option but to visit your local Service Centre.
