stuck at boot screen

I have an x10 mini pro. Lately, it keeps crashing and freezing. Today I tried to turn it off and on (I usually reboot it like once every three days). Now its stuck at the boot screen. The white sony logo flashes and it just keeps on repeating. I've tried sony pc companion and sony update service to repair (note: repair, not update) the phone. PC companion says that there is no software available for my phone. Sony Update service tells me that my phone is up to date. But I can't turn my phone on. Its stuck at the white logo at boot. Someone please help?

That is due to a different firmware installed in phone. Anyway, glad that phone is working again.

Love you dweezy, your post helped me 1 year later i searched for how to fix this problem for 3 continous days but found nothing about that this is due to baseband. I searched for baseband every link had been deleted fortunately i found a rar file that worked I love my xperia
