Stuck at Boot Loop

My Sony Xperia C3 permanently restarts at "SONY" logo.

At recovery screen I push "wipe data/factory reset", then "yes", wipe succesful, but still restarts.

I tried Update through Sony PC Companion. Doesn't help, cause before the loading data to the phone an error "sony update engine failure (error 0x00000064)" appear.

In addition, if choose "backup user data" in recovery menu there will be "Error: Mount /data error."

I really don't understand what should I do.

Thank you for your message. But SIM and SD card removed before.

This topic I read twice before post my message. I have Windows 7 64bit. HDD have more than 15 GB free space.

I know that it seems like "downloading" problems, but I suppose error apears just after finishing of downloading (I see, that trafic speed decrease, than after that runs some processes, then error appears.

Now, I tried another PC, with Windows XP (SP3) - all the same, after download, appears "Updating" status and error.

In addition: Just before the wiping there was "error while encripting the information, please reset your phone".

Do you have antivirus or a firewall?

Hi

Try changing the language on your PC to English because that has proved to help a lot of users here on the forum.

Your phone should be switched off while connecting to PC Companion. So you need to force shutdown your device like shown below

To force the device to shut down

  1. Detach the cover of the micro SIM card slot.
  2. Using the tip of a pen or a similar object, press and hold down the OFF button until the device shuts down.

Once the device switches off, charge your phone for atleast 1 hour and then prepare the PC Companion. Connect your phone only when asked ( make sure it's switched off before connecting)

All the best.
